Why: Administrative costs and meetings.
The Lesbian Literature meetup is a book club / social group for queer women. We meet once a month to discuss a book of lesbian literature, and we may meet more often for movie nights, book readings, and other get togethers.
We do require the members attend at least one meetup every six months, unless there are extenuating circumstances, and that each member pay dues of $4 a year. We also request that a photo (can be anything) be posted on new member accounts.
